Description
Our large scale model cars and yachts are regularly displayed and retailed in some of the most prestigious locations around the world. Often displays are positioned as a focal point within board rooms and reception areas of luxury car and yacht manufacturers. Our models can be seen within prestige dealerships of manufacturers including Bugatti and Princess Yachts. Additional to this, many F1 drivers, team members, professionals and enthusiasts display Amalgam models within their homes. With is in mind we have designed and developed a display cabinet that shows the beautiful lines of each model, quite literally in the best possible light.
At the heart of the display cabinet is the lighting system. The sophisticated low profile down-lighting system provides a ‘wash’ of illumination which is uniform over the entire display area. The uniformity of the light source allows the lines of an automotive body to be illuminated without any of the undesirable reflections often seen with a conventional spotlight style down-light. Alongside this, our custom designed power supply allows fine adjustment of the brightness and colour balance of the light source. This allows the light output to be adjusted to suit differently lit exhibition spaces as well as to be ‘hue tuned’ from cool to warm allowing for optimum display of any colour. With a powerful 180 watt LED array and sophisticated cooling system at the heart of our lighting system, efficiency is excellent too.
Our cabinets are individually hand built to order, and to an extremely high standard. Each unit is beautifully finished in your specified colour and finish. The display cabinet has a sharp minimal aesthetic allowing it to harmonise with your existing space, and is durable enough to withstand continuous use within a commercial, exhibition or museum display environment. Designed as a free standing unit, each face is of a ‘show quality’ meaning the cabinet can be utilised as a central focal point within a room. Additional to the visual display area, the cabinet body forms a spacious storage area for related goods, marketing or retail material.
Being individually designed and handmade to order, and with us working closely with the end user we are able to meet any specific bespoke criteria.
