Amalgam’s roots are in creating finely tuned models for the most important product designers and architects. Much of our work is now around motorsport and performance cars, but in the wider world of design and industry we collaborate with star designers, engineers, architects and artists, maintaining a deserved reputation for deeply exploring the brief with our clients to take the model rendition of their designs to the highest level. We have long employed digital scanning, CAD design, CNC machining and 3D printing. We continue in our quest to create ever more precise and accurate models, exploring and embracing the leading edges of every appropriate technology.

Show Cars, Concepts and Displays

A deep understanding of automotive design and technology is an indispensable and significant part of the skill set required to make fine large scale model cars that Amalgam has developed over the last 25 years. With that knowledge and experience in hand, it has been only a small step to bring our finishing, engineering and digital skills to bear on the creation of Show Cars and Concepts at full size.
