- Guía de escala
The 312T2 Ferrari Grand Prix car featured a number of modifications over the 312T, its immediate predecessor. New aerodynamic rules were imposed for the 1976 Formula One race season, meaning that, amongst other changes, the car no longer featured an airbox behind the cockpit. Instead NACA shaped air intakes, a low-drag air inlet design, were incorporated into the cockpit sides, feeding air into each cylinder bank of the flat 12 engine.*The 312T2 was campaigned by Ferrari in the 1976 and 1977 Formula One seasons by Niki Lauda, Clay Regazzoni, Carlos Reutemann and Gilles Villeneuve. It was also used for the first two races of 1978, before being replaced by the 312T3. Ferrari won the Constructors’ Championship in both 1976 and 1977 with the 312T2 and Niki Lauda finished second in the 1976 Drivers’ Championship with the 312T2, just one point behind the leader, James Hunt.
