Amalgam Collection models are pieces of art and, like all pieces of art, should be displayed for maximum impact. Having worked with some of the world’s most important architects since the 1980s, we have learned that, to best display complex and beautiful objects, simplicity and clarity of presentation are of the essence. Our purpose-built display plinths and cabinets are all founded on the concept that they must be elegant, simple and able to harmonise with any style or context, to ensure the model remains the sole focus of attention. The displays are designed to remain discreetly complementary to the model in terms of quality, finish and functionality.

As well as chest-height plinths and special model covers, Amalgam produce light tablets to help illuminate the model on display. Inspired by the lighting system used in Ralph Lauren’s private museum, we designed these light tablets to throw an even silky light over the car, revealing the lines of the body and illuminating the details perfectly. The tablet sits on top of the clear cover that comes with the model but is most effective when used in combination with an Extra High Cover with the model placed atop a Plinth. The full set of components together create a harmonious whole, but each part is effective alone and can be purchased separately.
