Understanding Scale
Every Amalgam model is created to a precise scale, representing the relationship between the model and the original vehicle. A 1:8 scale model, for example, is one-eighth the size of the full-size car, while a 1:18 scale model is one-eighteenth of the original dimensions.
Because the dimensions of the real vehicles vary, model lengths are approximate, but the examples below provide a useful guide to the relative size of each scale in our collection. Put simply, the larger the number after the colon, the smaller the model.

Please note that the dimensions shown above are based on the approximate length of a full-size car. Products representing individual vehicle components, such as nosecones, steering wheels and engines, will differ in size as they are scaled from the original component rather than the complete vehicle.
