Ferrari SF1000

The 66th car built by Scuderia Ferrari to take part in the Formula 1 World Championship, the Ferrari SF1000 was revealed on 11th February at a closed Ferrari event at the Romolo Valli Municipal Theater in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The name reflects the fact that the Scuderia will have taken part in a thousand Grands Prix after the ninth race of the season, which is expected to be at the 2020 Belgian Grand Prix. The Maranello team made its Formula 1 debut on 21 May 1950, in Monaco, in the second ever championship Grand Prix and is the most successful in the sport with 16 Constructors’ titles, 15 Drivers’ and 238 Grand Prix victories. (Statistics correct as at the start of the 2020 season.)
