McLaren MP4-22

The McLaren MP4-22 was McLaren's challenger for the 2007 Formula One World Championship and one of the most competitive cars of its generation. Driven by reigning double World Champion Fernando Alonso and rookie Lewis Hamilton, the MP4-22 secured eight victories, eight pole positions and fourteen podium finishes, carrying both drivers into championship contention until the final race of the season. The 2007 campaign is remembered not only for the car's exceptional performance, but also for the emergence of Hamilton as a Formula 1 frontrunner from his very first season and the intense rivalry that developed between McLaren's two phenomenally talented drivers. The McLaren MP4-22 Collection brings together editions inspired by the cars raced by Alonso and Hamilton throughout the 2007 season.
