Model Handling: Ferrari 250 TR 1958 Le Mans - M5248-TR

Discover the functionality of our Ferrari 250 TR at 1:8 scale in our latest handling video. This edition of models perfectly replicates the #14 car as raced to victory by Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at Circuit de la Sarthe on the 21st and 22nd of June 1958. The 1:8 scale model features an engine cover that lifts up, after careful undoing of the leather buckles and rotation of the delicate handles, to reveal the intricate details of the Columbo-designed three litre V12 engine, as well as the rear end cover that can be lifted to showcase the aluminium fuel tank. Limited to just 199 pieces, models of the 1958 Le Mans winning car are now available to order on our website. This fine, officially licensed 24 Hours of Le Mans product, 1:8 scale model of the Ferrari 250 TR has been handcrafted and finished in our workshops using CAD developed from a detailed digital scan of an original car - chassis 0734. The model's extensive research and development cycle necessitated over 4,000 hours of work, and the first prototype model only received approval once the historians at Ferrari Classiche were fully satisfied with its accuracy of representation.
