Now available to order at 1:18 scale
The development of our much anticipated McLaren F1 LM at 1:18 scale is now complete following full approval of the prototype design from the design and engineering teams at McLaren Automotive. We are now accepting orders on the first batch of models scheduled for delivery in early May.
Each 1:18 scale model measuring over 24 centimetres (9 inches) long.
Built using CAD designs developed from a scan of original chassis LM3.
A lower, stiffer, track-oriented version of the revolutionary F1 road car, the F1 LM was built to celebrate McLaren’s astonishing debut victory at Le Mans. Appearing at Le Mans with seven F1 GTRs in six privateer teams, F1 GTRs stormed to an impressive victory, finishing in 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 13th places. As a tribute to this immediate success, McLaren decided to build just five cars for sale, signifying the five racers that reached the end, and keeping the prototype. 60kg lighter than the standard F1 and more powerful than the F1 GTR track cars, it was once the holder of many world records, including the 0-100-0mph record that it completed in a mesmerising 11.5 seconds.
