Honouring Honda's vital contribution to Red Bull's success in 2021
With all 50 of the Monaco GP Verstappen edition sold, we are pleased to announce 1:8 scale editions are currently under development, of the remarkable and beautiful Turkish GP car in Honda livery. The editions are limited to 33 Verstappen, and 11 Pérez models, both of which are now available to pre-order.
With their close collaboration coming to a close at the end of the 2021 season, Red Bull were keen to honour the vital contribution Honda have made to their success. Their gratitude was expressed in this special livery for the Turkish GP, taking inspiration from Richie Ginther’s 1965 Mexican Grand Prix-winning Honda RA272.
Honda announced towards the end of 2020 that the 2021 season would be their last in Formula 1, having returned to the sport to power McLaren back in 2015. They first supplied AlphaTauri back in their Toro Rosso days in 2018, before supplying both Red Bull teams from 2019 onwards.
Max Verstappen earned a second place for Red Bull Racing Honda at the Turkish GP, reclaiming him the championship lead. With Sergio Pérez right behind him, the team scored its second double-podium of the year and the first since the French Grand Prix nine races ago.
Our 2021 Formula 1 Model Collection
at 1:8, and 1:18 scale with a full size steering wheel
Late last year we were excited to launch a collection celebrating Ferrari's SF21. The perfectly detailed 1:8 model was approved by Ferrari following an intense dive into every detail by Gestione Sportiva, and it is now available to order. The 1:1 scale replica of the SF21 steering wheel used by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz proved popular in the collection, with its next batch's completion imminent. The SF21 at 1:18 scale is in the final stages of development, and we encourage you to register your interest so that we can alert you when the first models are available to order.
at 1:8 and 1:18 scale with a 1:12 scale nosecone
Our models of the McLaren MCL35M are proving to be incredibly sought-after, which should come as no surprise as McLaren are currently the most popular team in the paddock, with an incredible number of customers registering their interest in the 1:18 scale model. The 1:18, alongside the 1:12 scale nosecone and 1:8 scale model, are all now available to pre-order on our website. The first batches of nosecones and 1:18 scales are programmed for delivery in late-January and early-mid February respectively. Our 1:8 scale model is set for approval in the first months of the year, with the first batch scheduled for completion by April.
