Salesperson Stephen Hurn has been Amalgam's representative across the United Arab Emirates for the last month as he journeyed through the Middle East and Asia, meeting many prospective and current Amalgam clients. Stephen supported several Ferrari events during his time abroad, displaying Amalgam models, much to the interest of many of the Ferrari owners.
First up was Passione Ferrari at the Dubai Autodrome. Stephen displayed some of our finest models at 1:8 and 1:18 scales, including the 1954 Le Mans winning 375 Plus, and the 812 Superfast. The Superfast's real world equivalent was one of the cars being demonstrated, whilst the event also hosted the Middle East launch of the 812 GTS convertible. It was the busiest Dubai event yet, with over 100 hundred Ferrari owners coming from the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Dragon Racing made an appearance, looking for the extra competitive Ferrari driver to join the Ferrari Challenge Series for 2020.
Stephen was then our representative at UAE Ferrari Owners Club gala dinner after receiving a special invitation to the exclusive gathering. He was able to meet many prospective and current clients at the One&Only resort on Dubai's Palm Island. Amalgam models were prominently displayed throughout the restaurant and bar areas.
Before he left for home, Stephen welcomed into Casa Ferrari during the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix race weekend. This was the first Casa Ferrari to be held in the Middle East for Prancing Horse enthusiasts and was just metres away from the Grand Prix circuit where the racing was taking place. Stephen mingled with good friends and clients alike, discussing the intricate details of our models on display.
