Limited to 99 pieces, this 1:8 scale Jaguar D-type model (over 55 cm long) exactly recreates the Ecurie Ecosse car driven by Ron Flockhart and Ivor Bueb to victory at the 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans. Hand-built by a small team of craftsmen from thousands of precision parts with opening doors, trunk and engine cover, it is finished in Ecurie Ecosse Metallic Flag Blue using archive paint codes and material specs from Jaguar Heritage. Developed over 4000 hours and taking more than 400 hours to build, it is based on original CAD created from a scan of chassis XKD 501 to ensure complete accuracy. Officially licensed 24 Hours of Le Mans product.
