Built using original drawings and archive photographs supplied by Mercedes-Benz, this edition of models perfectly replicates the car as raced to victory by Rudolf Caracciola in the Mille Miglia on the 12th and 13th of April 1931. It features an engine cover that lifts up to reveal a stunning scale recreation of the supercharged 7,065cc six-cylinder engine, as well as removable spare tyres. The models have also been patinated to show the weathering details that would have been present at the thousand-mile race through Italy.
