Model Handling
Amalgam models are built accurately to scale in every respect. As a consequence the door and hood closure mechanisms and straps are delicate and easily damaged. Please proceed with opening and closing the doors and hatches with great care and attention, using the methodology described or shown in the instructions below. Never try and force doors and hatches open with a finger nail or any other hard implement. If the latches, straps or other closures are released properly there should be no need to exert any force. If you do have problems with opening doors or hatches please contact Amalgam HQ in Bristol or your local sales agent to get further advice.
