Handling instructions video for features and functions of the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato model at 1:8 scale. The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, born from the partnership of British engineering and Italian design, is regarded as one of the most beautiful and desirable sports cars ever built, with only 19 originals produced. Powered by a lightweight 3.7-litre straight-six delivering 302 bhp, the Zagato-bodied GT achieved 154 mph and 0–60 in just 6.1 seconds, its flowing lines penned by Ercole Spada at just 23 years old. This 1:8 scale model, limited to 199 pieces, recreates chassis DB4GT/1082/R “1 VEV” exactly as raced at the 1961 RAC Goodwood Tourist Trophy by Roy Salvadori. Over 5000 hours of development and more than 500 hours of build time have gone into each model, which is hand-built from thousands of precision parts using digital scans of the original car, archive materials and CAD data supplied by Aston Martin. Measuring over 53 cm long, each piece captures the DB4 GT Zagato’s exquisite detail and enduring legacy as automotive art in its purest form.
